Workers who could speak a little English if possible will be an advantage.
Basic Salary of 24.03$ /Hour = 4165.20 Canadian Dollar Minimum per Month before tax
Plus:
$0.75 premium for slaughter department
Premium of $0.75 for the evening shift
$1.25 bonus for the night shift
Currently our need are for the evening and night shift especially.
The workers in the daily production hold different positions in the plant in terms of poultry reception, evisceration and processing.
The main tasks are:
At the Poultry Receiving Department employees must: hang birds, bleed some birds, and load empty cages onto trailers.
In the evisceration department, employees must detect bird diseases, check giblets and trim poultry.
In the packaging department, employees must tie birds using automatic tying machine, put birds in boxes, put chicken in bags, put chickens between panes to place them for packaging under vacuum, monitor the quality of the product as well as the canning of the birds.
In the cutting department: hanging the birds, checking the quality of the product and ensuring the correct weight in the boxes. Perform manual trimming using a knife when the pieces have been damaged by the cutting modules.
Several other tasks related to the operations of a slaughterhouse and food processing plant.
The number of working hours varies according to production up to 40 hours, of which 36 hours are guaranteed.
Hourly wage :
Hiring $24.03
Bonuses:
Evening shift: $0.75/hour
Night shift: $1.25/hour
Receiving Poultry: $0.75/hour
The temperature is 4°C in the processing department.

Working hours:
Reception (slaughter): 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. & 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.
Evisceration: 6:11 a.m. to 2:41 p.m. & 2:53 p.m. to 11:23 p.m.
Transformation: 9:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Sanitation 11:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., 12:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Expedition: Day starts at 9:18 a.m., evening 6:05 p.m. and night 1:00 a.m.
2 breaks of 15 minutes, 4 breaks of 7 minutes and 1 meal break of 30 minutes (unpaid)
** Work schedules for the following week are released on Thursday. The schedule generally remains the same throughout the week.
IMPORTANT: You must be available on all shifts and be able to perform all positions.
Vacation
Less than 1 year of continuous service: 1 day per month with a maximum of 2 weeks.
After 1 year of continuous service, 2 weeks vacation
After 3 years of continuous service, 3 weeks vacation
Possibility of having a week of vacation by working overtime (bank of accumulated hours)
Pay
Pay is paid each work week.

Each year, a brunch is organized by the company, involving senior management and the human resources team, in order to highlight the years of service of employees, from five (5) years until retirement! On the program: Toast of honor, meal, award ceremony, group photo, etc.

Housing:
We offer housing from day one:
We deduct $51.71/week for the salary , the price goes up a little each year. (Furnished, heated) Depending on our houses, they can share a room or have a single room. It depends on the places.
Transport:
A shuttle bus/transport will carry the workers from the housing to the factory and back.
